How do I sign up for Online Banking?

Simply stop by the bank or printout and complete an Internet Banking Application and mail it to: Wakulla Bank, PO Box 610, Crawfordville, FL 32326. Once you complete this form, we will mail you an ID number and password in 5 to 8 business days.

Is there a fee for Wakulla Bank Online Banking?

No, Wakulla Bank's Online Banking is available free of charge to all Wakulla Bank customers.

Is Internet Banking safe?

Yes! Wakulla Bank uses state-of-the-art firewalls and security to protect your accounts and identity. We protect your information by:

What is encryption?

Encryption technology ensures that another party cannot access your confidential account information. Encryption is a way to rewrite something in a code, which can be decoded later with the right "key". When you request information about your accounts, the information is sent across the web in an encrypted format. When the information reaches you, it is decoded so that you and no one else can read it. When you see a small lock icon at the bottom of your browser, it indicates your data has been encrypted for transmission.

Why do I need 128-bit encryption?

Because we are dedicated to a safe and secure Internet Banking experience, we require that you use the highest security standards available. Many personal computers are currently running browsers with 40-bit encryption, and these must be updated at no charge. Simply click on the TEST BROWSER button on the Wakulla Bank Internet Banking login page to check and update your browser if needed.

What can I do to protect my Internet security?

My Wakulla Bank Internet Banking ID and Password are already filled in, is this secure?

If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 on a Windows platform, your Wakulla Bank Internet Banking ID and password may automatically fill in when you enter Wakulla Bank Internet Banking. A dialog box will appear with six tabs across the top, click on the Content tab and then click on the Auto Complete button in the Personal Information section at the bottom. Then click OK to save your settings and click OK on the Internet Options window.

Can I choose my own Wakulla Bank Internet Banking ID and Password?

Initially you will automatically be assigned a Wakulla Bank Internet Banking ID and password. The first time you log on to Wakulla Bank Internet Banking you will be asked to choose a different password for security reasons. You may choose any alphanumeric password 4 to 8 characters in length. You will also have the option of setting up an alias such as your name, to use in place of your Wakulla Bank Internet Banking ID, once you have entered the site. Please note that your actual Wakulla Bank Internet Banking ID does not change - when you log on, the system will accept either the original 12-digit Wakulla Bank Internet Banking ID or the alias you assign. You may change your alias and password as often as you would like.

How do I create an alias for my Internet Banking ID?

After you log on to Wakulla Bank Internet Banking, select the "Options" tab. Type in the alias of your choice then click on "Submit ".

How do I change my Password?

After you log on to Wakulla Bank Internet Banking, select the "Options" tab. Before you are allowed to create a new password you will be required to type in your current password. You will then be asked to type in your new password twice for verification purposes. To save this change, click on "Submit".

Why does the system require me to change my Password?

To ensure continued security for your Internet Banking account, the system requires you to change your password ever 180 days.

What should I do if I forget my Password?

If you forget your password, simply call us at (850) 926-7111 and we can reset your password.

What should I do if I am locked out of my accounts?

If you are locked out of your accounts, simply call any of our branches and request your Internet Banking account to be unlocked.

How late in the day can I make a transfer between my Wakulla Bank accounts?

You can transfer funds 24 hours a day; however, if you would like the transfer to post on the same day, it must be made before 2:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. All transfers made on weekends or on holidays will post on the next business day.

I signed up for Wakulla Bank Internet Banking, but I am not able to view my past statements.

Only statements produced after you have signed up for Wakulla Bank Internet Banking are available online.

How far back can I view my statements?

You can view 180 days (6 months) worth of statements, as well as, your current statement.

Can I add additional accounts to my existing Internet Banking Service?

Yes. To add additional accounts you must complete the Internet Banking Change Request Form. This form can be obtained at any of our branches or by downloading it from our website. This form cannot be faxed or emailed. We must receive a form with an original signature on it. In addition, you may add any type of account including checking, savings, loan, or cd. Please note, you must be a signer on the account(s) to add them to your Wakulla Bank Internet Banking service.

Can I pay bills using Wakulla Bank Internet Banking?

Yes, you can transfer funds from your checking accounts to loan accounts to make your monthly payments to the bank. You may also sign up for Wakulla Bank's BillPay service, which will allow you to set up as many demand deposit accounts as you would like to pay bills outside of the bank. To sign up for BillPay you should check the appropriate box on the Internet Banking Application or Change Request Form.

What is real-time account access?

Real time account access means that you see what the Bank sees. In other words, you have access to the most current and accurate information pertaining to your account(s).

Since my account numbers don't appear on Wakulla Bank Internet Banking, how can I differentiate between my accounts?

Wakulla Bank Internet Banking allows you to assign labels to each of your accounts so you can label them to whatever is most convenient for you (i.e., Christmas Savings, Auto Loan, Home Loan, etc.). To change, after you log on to Wakulla Bank Internet Banking, select the "Options" tab. Then click on the "Account" option. You will then be asked to type in your New Account Name next to your current Account Name. To save this change, click on "Submit".

What is the difference between current and available balance?

Your current balance is the total amount currently in your account. Available balance is your current balance plus any available overdraft protection funds.
