Wakulla Bank's ongoing involvement with its community only becomes stronger when we work together with American Bankers Association and America's Promise. We give back to our community everyday, but with this promise we give back more specifically to the young people of our community. Wakulla Bank knows the youth of our community are the future and deserve all the opportunities we can give them. Wakulla Bank is committed to providing a bright future for our youth.
The mission of America's Promise is to fulfill these five promises to our nation's youth:
- Ongoing relationships with caring adults - mentors, tutors or coaches;
- Access to safe places and structured activities during non-school hours;
- A healthy start;
- Marketable skills through effective education; and
- Opportunities to give back through community service
